2021 – Two chaos makers, one idea & the great adventure
Lukas and Sebastian quit their jobs and thought, "Being self-employed can't be that difficult... can it?" Their idea: an outdoor online shop with only the best, self-tested products. The warehouse? A cross between a storage room and a living room. The office? It didn't exist – but the first orders came in anyway!
2022 – The first office (and the first coffee machine in continuous operation)
After the first bestseller—the Adventure Light—it became clear: "Okay, this is bigger than we thought!" So we moved into our first office and brought our first permanent employees on board. Suddenly, we were seven people trying to bring order to the chaos. Spoiler alert: It didn't always work.
2023 – Growth, growth… and no more space
Orders skyrocketed, the team grew, and we realized, "Maybe we should have moved to a bigger office after all..." Processes were improved, new products were developed—but the highlight was definitely when we could fight for a chair because the meeting room doubled as a warehouse.
2024 – The sleeping mat, the move & finally some legroom
Then came the sleeping pad – and BOOM! Another viral hit, even bigger than the Adventure Light. With this success, not only did our company grow, but so did the realization: "Okay, things are getting tight now – we need more space!" So we packed our boxes and moved into a larger office. But that wasn't all: An international company wanted to buy Adventure Shop. After careful consideration, we decided to take the next big step – Adventure Shop was sold! But don't worry: nothing will change for you! We'll remain the same, with the same passion for adventure and innovation – and look forward to continuing to supply you with the best products!
